Data Engineer
Job Description
You will be in charge of the development and maintenance of our own in-house services. (HRog services, visit here for more details: https://hrog.co.jp/services )
In addition to the operation and development of internal back-end systems, you will be responsible for cleansing big data, which is the foundation of the service, and building the infrastructure for data analysis.
As a data engineer, you will learn and work on technologies like Java, Python, SQL, Amazon Redshift and Google Big Querry, etc. You'll have the opportunity to learn big data-related tools and also to improve your skills as a data engineer.
We are planning a career plan that will eventually allow you to play an active role as a manager/leader in the near future.
In addition, you will be able to work while communicating with members in Japan every day, which will help you improve your Japanese Language Skills as well.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Java. (Internship experience is acceptable)
- Japanese (N3 or above) or conversational level English
Preferred
- Experience working in Python, Angular, React
- Experience working with AWS
- Experience of using any of big data tools
Employment Type
Full-time (Probation term 2 months)
Monthly Salary (Gross)
20,000,000 VND ~ 35,000,000 VND
(Salary will be determined in accordance with our company's regulations, taking into account experience and ability.)
Bonus & Salary Raise
- Salary increment happens twice a year

First interview
An online interview will be held with a designer from the head office in Japan.
During the interview, the interviewer will ask you a few general questions and few technical questions.
Also, we will give you brief information about the company and it will be more of a discussion time, so feel free to ask questions!
Final Interview
You will be asked to come to the Goalist Vietnam office and have an online interview with an executive from the Japan headquarters.
On the day of the interview, you will also have the opportunity to speak with members of the Goalist Vietnam team.
After about a week of screening, you will be notified of your acceptance or rejection. If you are selected, we will also inform you of the salary and other conditions.
